Well another new year and 2010 sees some exciting new products:
METREL have continued to push ahead with high quality affordable units like the new MI3123 Earth Tester which replaces the very popular MI2124 with a multimeter style unit which is more rugged, has more features and uses rechargeable batteries and the new Eurolink Pro software. This unit has a high output current of 20ma for our dry soils and high accuracy and noise immunity plus a CAT4 rating - it will perform 2/3 and 4 pole tests plus Stakeless testing with the high sensitivity probes and can be mated to the A Frame Reel with 100m and 50m cables for testing the deeper earth rods being installed now with accuracy.
METREL also have a new 5KV range featuring the MI3201 Teraohm Plus Automated tester that has a graphical display for showing trend over time, rechargeable NiMh batteries and comes in a rugged suitcase style enclosure with a price that is half that of some other competative brands. Its high accuracy, high burn current of 5ma and range to 10 teraohms plus a CAT4 rating make this unit a real industrial package for all types of testing.
DV POWER have continued to build on their excellent RMO Microhmeter range with the RMO25T Winding resistance tester that is suitable for testing transformers and motors with its high current of 25A and quick voltage build up to charge inductive loads and give quick test results. This compact 9.5kg unit can store all test results for download using the Win-DV software included and the other good news is its affordable.
SEBA have quickly gained popularity in the market place with the industry leading VLOC PRO cable/pipe locating kit with it colour screen, compass feature and high power 10 watt transmitter showing off its cutting edge technology. Even the EASYLOC single frequency locator system is leaps and bounds ahead off its opposition and now the EASYLOC Plus has arrived with dual active frequencies.
